Delaware restaurant group SoDel Concepts is announcing plans for its third Matt’s Fish Camp location on the Coast Road at Fenwick Island.

SoDel Concepts is growing. This time with another Matt’s Fish Camp location.

In an announcement in mid-March, SoDel Concepts President Scott Kammerer announced plans to open the company’s new restaurant, Matt’s Fish Camp Fenwick, at the former Ropewalk Fenwick Island location. This will be the third location of Matt’s Fish Camp.

“We are really excited about this opportunity as a company,” Kammerer said in a prepared statement. “With this new restaurant, we can continue to honor our founder Matt Haley, the restaurant’s namesake, and serve great food in a beautiful space along the Delaware coast. We will be open all year round and offer indoor and outdoor dining.

The concept has been successful on Delaware beaches since its inception over nine years ago. The restaurant’s simple menu focuses on fresh local seafood and classics of coastal comfort.

The new facility will be located at 700 Coastal Highway in Fenwick Island. This Matt’s Fish Camp menu will follow the pattern of other places with favorites like colossal crab cakes and lobster rolls, but will also feature exclusive chef-inspired dishes.
