FENWICK ISLAND, Del. – Calling all fans of Matt’s Fish Camp! The locals’ favorite spot for all things seafood is planning to open their third location on Fenwick Island. SoDel Concepts chief operating officer Matt Patton said they had just closed the property. Now they are working on the first stages of construction. âI think Matt’s Fish Camp represents SoDel very well. It’s simple, humble and delicious. Lots of crab cakes, lobster rolls, but you will also find unique features here that you won’t find in other places, âPatton said.
The concept will be similar to the other two locations at Bethany Beach and Lewes. Patton says the team are just thrilled to be feeding the bellies on Fenwick Island. âWe are really excited. We’ve been studying Fenwick for a while. There are a lot of locals that we would like to take care of, and there are a lot of summer locals here during the summer season that we would also like to take care of. We’re excited to open up and start cooking food here, âPatton said.
There is not yet a specific date for the inauguration. But Patton says it will likely happen in early summer. Patton says the restaurant will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, year round. He adds that there are special surprises in the work of the restaurant’s culinary team.
